In the beginning, BlackPing was created as part of a pet project. It fulfilled two purposes: getting my feet wet in regards to BlackBerry development and allowing me to use Ping.fm with more ease than the mobile website provided. The application was created and released and it's popularity grew beyond my wildest expectations. Now, it's time to take a step back and develop the application in a more professional manner.
